Creating / Deleting Personalised POP E-mail Accounts

When your account was created, a default email account was automatically created. It is best to create your personalised POP e-mail accounts and to use the defualt e-mail as a "Catch All Account" only. Click here to learn how to set up a "Catch All Account.

 

  1. Type www dot + yourdomain/cpanel into your web browser and then enter user name and password when requested to access your control panel.

                                                 eg: www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

  1. In your control panel, click the Mail Icon.

 

  1. Now click Manage/Add Remove Accounts link.

 

 

  1. At bottom of page in control panel, click the Add Account link.

  1. Enter details and click the Create button. Remember to always use lowercase letters for e-mail account names.

Enter e-mail name and select the appropriate domain if you are using more than one domain.

Passwords should be 6-8 characters, alpha numeric.

It is a good idea to set a quota 10 to 20 meg is sufficient for most applications.

 

  1. E-mail account should now be setup. Click the Go Back link to view mail account maintenance screen -

  1. Repeat steps 4-6 to add more accounts if necessary. In the Mail Account Maintenance screen, you can also change passwords, quota sizes and delete e-mail accounts (see below for details).
