Setting up E-mail Forwarding

There are many reasons that you may wish to redirect your e-mail. Two examples are:

  1. To collect the mail of an employee who is going on holidays
  1. To redirect your mail to your hotmail account or your Internet Service Provider's POP mail account

To set up e-mail forwarding:

  1. Type www dot + yourdomain/cpanel into your web browser and then enter username and password when requested to access your control panel.

                                                 eg: www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

  1. In your control panel, click the Mail Icon.

  1. Now select the Forwarders link.

  1. Now click Add Forwarder link.

  1. Enter e-mail account name you wish to forward and then select domain name if you are using more than one domain. Now enter the e-mail address where you wish to redirect all your mail to and click the Add Forwarder button.

                                                              Example: bob3695123@your-isp.whatever

  1. A confirmation Screen will appear. Click Go Back to view Forwarding Maintenance screen.

  1. Your mail will now be redirected to the e-mail account you entered. To cease redirection simply click Delete next to the required forwarder in the Forwarding Maintenance screen (see below).
