Auto Responders

It is imposible to be at your computer all the time. Auto responder can be set up to e-mail a message to your customer as soon your mail server recievs their message. Auto response message may be used to let your customer know you have recieved their message and are working on thier request. They can also be used to let you customers know you are on holidays, etc. To set up auto responders:

 

  1. Type www dot + yourdomain/cpanel into your web browser and then enter username and password when requested to access your control panel.

                                                 eg: www.yourdomain.com/cpanel

  1. In your control panel, click the Mail Icon.

 

  1. Click the Auto Responders link.

 

  1. Now click Add Auto-responder link.

 

  1. Now enter the appropiate details and the click the Create/Modify button.

It is probably easier for novice users just to use us-ascii text and no HTML.

Take notice the use of %subject%, %from% and %email%    commands.

 

  1. On the confirmation screen, click Go Back link to view auto responder you just created.

 

  1. You can edit or delete auto reponder at any time by repeating steps 1 to 3 and then selecting Edit or Delete links.
